Alison's Birthday
Occult B movie

Alison was raised by her aunt and uncle after her parents died in a car accident when she was only a baby. As her 19th birthday approaches, and despite warnings received two years earlier during a séance with her friends, she travels to her childhood home for a celebration of an unexpected nature.
Virtually unknown in Europe, this delightful but modest ozploitation contribution to occult cinema was released all too confidentially, until a VHS release in the UK and US gave it a small cult status. No doubt, some of the most prominent genre filmmakers of recent years have been handsomely inspired by it.
