The Lost Record

A chameleon musician in several bands since the 90s, Ian Svenonius re-invented himself in 2017, releasing The Lost Record in 2018 under the name Escape-ism. With his partner Alexandra Cabral, he extends the concept of this album in a film featuring a young girl who discovers an obscure vinyl record, begging to be listened to. Fascinated by the object, she is torn between her impulse to keep it for herself and her desire to share it with a world which has been conditioned to listen to a single melody…
