With her marriage on the verge of imploding, Miriam takes her husband on a holiday to see her sister, whom she has not seen in years, in the hope of finding some semblance of serenity. But a misunderstanding will turn their vacation into a horror trip. When Dusty Mancinelli and Madeleine Sims-Fewer met, they realised they had a lot in common, including experiences of abuse in their past. Now creative partners, they have written and directed three notoriously unsettling short films, culminating in this incisively precise debut feature that radically deconstructs the codes of rape & revenge.
