Reminisce on the life of the legendary Ali Boulala, a Swedish skateboarding prodigy from the 90ies who spread his wings to fast and burnt them on the way up through multiple fractures and a lifestyle guided by auto destructive behaviour, like a rockstar, burning the candle at both ends, and thus wasting himself. Now sober, he struggles with memories from the past and carries the burden of his excesses. With a very touching outcome, The Scars of Ali Boulala acts as prevention against substance abuse and contains a moving lesson on wisdom.
