Aural Tools with Attila Faravelli

This workshop offers a presentation and a practical exploration of the most important and untimely aural devices of these dramatic times. What are these "aural tools"? They are a series of objects designed to produce and broadcast sound in ways that traditional recorded media (LPs, CDs, digital) cannot. They are rather simple devices, made of wood, stone, cardboard or tarp, which link sound and space, listener and body. They are not artists' pieces, but tools that document the working process of the artists who made them, and are made available for everyone's use.
